ABOUT THE BLOG
The Full Story

Erik Travels the World is a photographic travel archive built from trips across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Ukraine before the war.
I initially put the site together quickly after returning home. I uploaded photographs from my iPhone with minimal captions.
I am now returning to it city by city, researching the many places I experienced, revisiting notes and memories, and adding the historical and personal context the photographs deserve.
This is a record of walking through cities, getting lost, staying in cheap hotels, haunting museums and train stations at 3 am, eating and imbibing at restaurants, taking in ruined buildings, street musicians, and the strange, vivid moments that make travel stay with you.
Enjoy.
